USB Ground

Majority of laptops do not have a grounded link, even while utilizing plug-in power. Electronics that are ungrounded can give off great electric fields or increase body voltage and by adding a grounding connection this can be prevented. The grounding cord measures in at 12 foot and creates the grounding link by plugging into the laptops USB port which makes contact with the chassis of the laptop. The opposite end plugs directly into a wall outlet that is grounded using a North American plug. Recommended by Michael Neuert and is simple, yet effective.

Caution: Utilize tester for an outlet to check if it is properly grounded before creating a grounding connection for the laptop. We do not accept liability if the outlet the cord is plugged into is not properly grounded.
